As a proof of health for Made in Green label products, products must be successfully passed laboratory inspection according to OEKO-TEXStandard 100 standard.

Production conditions, environment-friendly and socially responsible certificates can be provided according to the in-depth evaluation of STeP by OEKO-TEX certification and subsequent on-site audit.

Zurich (HM), in the past 20 years, has been a reliable partner for OEKO-TEX textile companies that pursue human ecological safety products and further implement sustainable production.

The product line of the association has recently added Made in Green by OEKO-TEX, a traceable product label that enables communication from the entire supply chain to the end-users.

This label can ensure that green textiles are not only detected by harmful ingredients (certified according to OEKO-TEXStandard 100 test standards), but also can be produced in accordance with the guidelines of OEKO-TEX International Textile Association.

Worldwide, the label can be granted any kind of textile products at any stage of the textile supply chain.

With Made in Green tags, brands, manufacturers and retailers can clearly publicize their responsible practices on sales information to their customers.

The added value of the Made in Green tag is that it can easily track every labelled product so that pparency can be upgraded to a new level throughout the supply chain to the consumer.

Each Made in Green tag has a product identification number and / or a two-dimensional code, which is used to explain the origin of the product.

According to the data released by the supply chain authorization, the labelling system can provide relevant information about the production site of the manufactured product, the production stage of each factory and the country where the product is manufactured.

For consumers who buy textile products through retail, the following is how to get them.

Made in Green

The guidelines for labels are:

1) the content is equal to or exceeds that.

Textile products

Any single component of 5% gross weight shall be provided by the STeP by OEKO-TEX certified production plant.

At least 85% of the weight of the single piece textile must be provided by the STeP by OEKO-TEX certified production plant.

2) above

standard

The general rule is that all sewing and wet / chemical processing plants must be certified by STeP by OEKO-TEX.

3) the product must be certified by OEKO-TEXStandard 100 standard.

For intermediate products sold in the supply chain, Made in Green label issuers must be certified by STeP by OEKO-TEX and comply with all the standards mentioned above.

At the start-up stage of Made in Green by OEKO-TEX, all key sewing and wet / chemical processing plants must comply with the above requirements.

Finally, in order to obtain the Made in Green label, all the other processing stages (spinning, weaving, knitting, excipient, fiber production and raw material production) all conform to the requirements of STeP certification.

In order to support the launch of the Made in Green tag system, the OEKO-TEX association has introduced a new consumer website, which is www.madeingreen.com. Relevant people can learn more about the tag from the website.

The website can also be accessed through mobile devices such as tablet computers and smart phones, and has the characteristics of tagging textiles through product identification numbers and / or two-dimensional code.

Visitors who are unable to provide identification numbers or two-dimensional codes can use the demonstration function of "no product identification number test".

This function can show visitors the information related to the production plant involved in the manufacturing process of a particular commodity.

A brief video shows the details of the procedures for obtaining the Made in Green tags, the general description of the production stages, and the relevant information of the OEKO-TEX Association, including the global contact information, so that the online function of the website is comprehensive and comprehensive.

The new Made in Green website is currently available in English and plans to launch a new language version in the near future.
