Jingdong And China FAW Jointly Explore The Whole Chain Of Digital Operation

Jingdong group and China Automobile Group Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as FAW) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Beijing in June 28th. It is agreed that in the future, the two sides will carry out business cooperation around the fields of intelligent procurement services, intelligent logistics, marketing, mobile travel, intelligent Internet of things, public welfare undertakings, financial services, post market and so on.

It is understood that China FAW will rely on Intelligent procurement technology to achieve digital and unified management of the procurement of the group. At the same time, it will also provide preferential policy support to Jingdong Group employees.

The two sides will jointly study the construction of the "purchase of domestic food and tourism brigade" ecosystem, explore new growth points through technological and business mode innovation, and provide a broader thinking for the upgrading of automobile brand digitalization.

In the process of cooperation, Jingdong business will set up a group purchasing portal for FAW, providing purchasing management tools from mass goods to logistics services covering the whole country, exclusive customer service, etc., and also through the personalized purchase solution of scenario and individuation, it will serve the visualization of digitalization and management of multi scene and whole chain purchase of FAW Group.

It is reported that from the general scenario of employee welfare and office supplies to the scene of industrial production and operation, FAW can complete the online procurement and digitalization management of covering, matching, ordering, approving, executing, delivering, settling and one-stop online through a unified entry, so as to realize centralized decentralized procurement, complex process integration, transparent procurement process, and turn procurement management from "cost center" to "business center".

In terms of employee benefits, Jingdong's business will set up a zero profit employee welfare platform for FAW. Employees across the country can log in on their own platforms, pay for their products through staff points or mixed payments, and set up their own delivery locations. While improving employee satisfaction, it also reduces inventory costs and two transhipment costs. In addition, through the intelligent procurement mode, FAW can also reduce the inventory of industrial products such as hardware tools, labor protection supplies, instruments and meters, wires and cables, low voltage electrical appliances, and further improve the inventory turnover rate.

Hu Shengli, senior vice president of Jingdong group and head of strategic cooperation department, said that based on Intelligent procurement cooperation, Jingdong will also embed its capability in marketing and technology into FAW's services.

In terms of 5G, the two sides will also cooperate in the field of artificial intelligence and big data, cloud computing and other related technologies. At present, some of the FAW red flag models have been equipped with IoT products such as Jingdong's small Beijing fish car family mutual control service, voice shopping service and so on.

In terms of marketing, FAW Volkswagen, FAW Volkswagen, FAW TOYOTA, Audi and other brands have opened official flagship stores in Jingdong, relying on Jingdong's traffic and customer groups, providing FAW users with online sales of automotive peripheral products and repair, maintenance and beauty shops.
